Sheldon Davies

As the Technical Solutions Director, Sheldon is responsible for driving and accelerating harmonization, leveraging investments and ensuring global cooperation throughout the regional support centers in North America, Europe the Far East and other regions as the markets develop. Besides, he is also responsible for the EMEA field support organization and global Implementation of Laboratory Automation systems. 

Based in Derbyshire in the UK, Sheldon joined GE in 1987 working in the UK and Denmark then Amersham International in 1989 and since then he has held a variety of positions including: Product Manager, 2nd level support in UK and France, and Field Engineer in the UK. In 2005 Sheldon became Technical Solutions Manager, UK, Nordic and Republic of Ireland.  In that role, he enjoyed great success in transitioning the traditional field organisation into the new Technical Solutions function and driving benchmark engagement and positive forward thinking throughout the team.  In addition to his regional success, Sheldon has been instrumental in a number of EMEA and WW projects such as Customer Self Service, working with Customers, R&D, Regulatory and Product Vigilance to enhance the uptime for systems driving efficiency in hospital laboratories and blood banks.
